This is just a test of Flickr’s blogging capabilities… Sorry it’s not the best picture! I just googled “blog flickr wordpress” (since I have a wordpress blog) and found the instructions. Now I can just upload a picture, click “blog this” above it and it lets me fill out the post and title. I’m not sure if I can do multiple pictures at a time, but maybe you’ll get some more pictures out of me this way!

Sorry I’ve been MIA, I’ve actually been trying to stay off the internet at my new job and Dash throws a fit if I get on the computer at home (actually he frantically walks over to me with his finger sticking out, ready to pick off each of my keys and cries when I shockingly don’t let him…) so I haven’t had much time to post or read any blogs lately. Hopefully that will all smooth out eventually…

So this new job is great. The people are really fun and laid back and the company owners are super-excited about what’s going on here. They started out developing beta software for potential customers so for a few years they didn’t turn any kind of a profit, and now that the product is out of the beta stage (which just means the development and prototyping stage) it’s really taking off. The CEO bought us all new monitors yesterday, we were on archaic 15 inch monsters, and he was so, so excited. It’s a great work environment. If I’m ever here when no one else is I’ll take pictures too, it’s open and airy and windows everywhere.

So I’m doing really well. Much happier. I changing jobs was definitely the right thing to do and I was a little iffy while I was quitting Bentley so I’m glad to have a little piece of mind now…

And first, I guess, an update on him… He’s doing great, picking up new words quickly now. So far his list is Hi, Bye, Duck, Daddy, Hat, and last night he added Night-Night. He’s said Light and Ball a few random times but not all the time. The others he says all the time. He waves at everything he sees and he’s really walking well now.

Dash on the fourth of July… he’s obsessed with shoes, particularly my Dad’s shoes. He’ll point and fuss if you don’t let him walk in them.

I think I’ve heard that flickr has a blogging tool, where you can post a picture and write a name and description and it will blog it for you. I’m not sure how that works but I think I might check it out…
